class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But Tether's choice<br>is closer to **\"structural efficiency\"** than \"stability.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1\ufe0f\u20e3 Tether looks at \"system stability,\" not \"returns\"<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tether's Bitcoin buying<br>like those of ETFs and institutions, <strong>aimed at maximizing returns<\/strong>\u2014 that is not its purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Tether, Bitcoin is<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>not a short-term volatile asset but,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>over the long term, <strong>an asset that defends the USDT system.<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Buying when prices are overheated<br>does not fit this purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If anything,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The more anxious the market,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the more depressed the price,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p
